A letter from the owner...
This is to provide you with a bit of information with regard to Applied Solutions. We are an independent, locally owned security company that provides quality products at competitive prices and pride ourselves on the after sale service. I have been in the service industry for twenty years, have worked in the security industry for twelve years, and started Applied Solutions in 2001. I learned a great deal about service throughout my career of working for other companies and did not always have the latitude to do what I felt was right for my customers. That is why I started Applied Solutions, as I saw an opportunity to provide a service that many companies promise, but few deliver on.

We strive to be specialized in the following areas of security: CCTV, Card Access, Central Sound, Burglar Alarm, and Voice/Data Wiring. The technology is always changing and we continually attend seminars and manufacturer training to stay up to date on the latest technology. Applied Solutions technicians are factory trained in Ademco Alarm Panels, American Dynamics, Axis IP Cameras, GE Alarm Panels, Honeywell, Pelco, and Vicon products. We use only manufacturers equipment that has a proven track record and stand behind their products, which allows us to do the same after the sale. We have a total of five employees so are small enough to take a personal approach in the residential market, as well as to handle a large commercial project. All our technicians have the authority to correct any issues that arise immediately without going through a chain of command. Unlike many large companies that like to get the large sale then disappear when you need service, I can always be reached by cell phone, unless I am in a meeting, and always return calls within two hours. There is no chain of command or voice mail mazes to maneuver through to get to the person that can make a decision when issues arise. Applied Solutions goal is to achieve 100% customer satisfaction, anything less and I feel as though I have failed. I believe in treating people the way that I expect to be treated as a consumer and have learned that the difference between success and failure of many businesses is based upon word of mouth. I feel that we are winning that battle and will continue to grow based upon our performance in the past.

All of our systems are owned by you the customer, even the lease to own systems. We do not lock you into using Applied Solutions as your only option for a security vendor, although once you allow us to earn your business we maintain 98.6% of our customer base since we started in 2001. Many alarm companies offer only a leased system which you never own. You do not have the option to ever purchase the system, including any cabling. Many companies also use proprietary equipment with software that only they can service and replace. If you ever have a problem, monitoring cost are no longer competitive for the market place, you become dissatisfied with the service, or the company goes out of business, you are stuck with them as well as their equipment for life. We always use equipment that any reputable security contractor has access to so that in the unlikely case that we go out of business or you become dissatisfied with Applied Solutions you can easily find another security vendor to service your system. I believe anything other than that is a great disservice to you the customer. We offer everything that the nationwide giants in the industry offer with no hidden costs and we live and work in the area, just like you. We do not use subcontractors that get paid by the job, so want to get in and out as fast as possible and don’t take pride in their work, as they will never see you again.
